Ellis Lake Resort is a family-owned and operated authentic rustic log cabin getaway in Northern Michigan. Established in 1939 it is nestled on 20 acres of beautiful northern woodland with private access to Ellis Lake. The log cabins, logrooms and chalet are nestled in a camp-like setting under the trees.

Amenities:
The cabins sit in a camp-like setting and most are one-room cabins. The living room, kitchen and bedroom areas are all in the same room. They are clean, cute and quite comfortable. All have fully equipped kitchens and are stocked with linens, towels and utility items. All the log cabins have bathrooms with shower stalls. There is very little you will need to bring for your lodging. Most of the cabins have Franklin stoves. All cabins have a private picnic table, grill and campfire pit. Wood is also available to purchase. Pets upon approval; $15.00 charge per day.

Activities:
Rowboats, canoes, volleyball, tetherball, horseshoes, swingset, cross country skis, and snowshoes, are available.

Ellis Lake is about a 70 acre no wake lake.It is secluded and unaltered by development. In fact, we are exclusive to its shores. There is a large wooden deck, chairs, grill, tables and a nice floating raft. Enjoy plenty of good fishing, swimming, skating and hiking. Ellis Lake is a Loon nesting sight and has plenty of other wildlife in the area.
