Located on one of the nicest little lakes you'll find in northern Michigan, 15 miles west of Traverse City and near the Village of Lake Ann, Lake Herendeene is close to all the attractions of the area, yet you'll feel like you're oh so far away from it all!

There are many great summer activities that abound around Traverse City: Lake Michigan beaches; golfing; winery tours; festivals galore; the sand dunes at the Sleeping Bear National Lake shore, biking the many nearby quiet forest trails, or how about a little fishing...

Afterwards, it's time to relax and enjoy the natural peaceful setting of Lake Herendeene, sitting next to a crackling campfire or swinging in the hammock by the lake and relaxing to the gentle sounds of the breeze rustling through the pines and the plaintive cry of the loons...

The cottage has 1100 square feet of comfortable main level living area, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen/dining area (with stove, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils & dishes), a full modern bathroom, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a great woodstove/fireplace.

The cottage also has dock, with a rowboat and a canoe ready for exploring the lake.

We welcome children here, there's plenty of room for kids to have a great time, while the adults can relax nearby around the campfire!
